Genetic
testing is important for diagnosis and risk evaluation of disease.
Genetic testing involves the identification of DNA variation in
genes that might lead or increase susceptibility to disease, thus
helping in early diagnosis, prevention and treatment management.
Pre-gestational testing is important to prevent the transmission of
disease to the next generation.

than 500 genes.
MLS BioDNA Ltd is
always expanding its testing capabilities and will be introducing
molecular testing for various infectious diseases in due course.
Ordering
of genetic tests should always be done by a
qualified medical professional. MLS BioDNA
Ltd will be offering genetic counselling by a
professional clinical geneticist only if requested by the client.
Counselling is recommended prior of doing the test and also for the
interpretation of results.

Sample Submission

the following samples for testing:
- Whole Blood:
10ml peripheral blood collected in an EDTA vacutainer (Lavender
top). Samples must be submitted at room temperature and never
frozen. HS code: 3002.90.10.00
Some tests might require the use of special
containers for the preservation of RNA so please refer to the
specific test's instructions or enquire for
further information.

submission forms
